Every community is shaped by the people who choose to lead, build, and create change.
For the San Franciscans of the Year Icons Celebration, Bridge Media Company partnered with the San Francisco Examiner to create a series of short films introducing the honorees and bringing the stories behind their accomplishments to life.
Each piece used interviews with the honoree and the people who knew their work best to capture the experiences, motivations, turning points, and values behind their contributions to San Francisco.
The films gave the audience a deeper understanding of who each honoree was, what they had built or changed, and why their work mattered to the city.
The series became an emotional centerpiece of the celebration and a collection of lasting digital assets that could continue introducing these civic leaders to a wider audience after the event ended.
